Chelsea: Fans believe reports of injury to Christian Pulisic are untrue

Chelsea fans believe reports of an injury to Christian Pulisic are not true after the winger pulled out of the United States squad for their upcoming internationals.
The American is said to be suffering from a hip injury sustained in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend, hence his withdrawal from the squad (via The Sun).
Pulisic has enjoyed a brilliant turn around in fortunes with the west London club, scoring five goals in his last three Premier League appearances after being benched for five league games in a row (via Transfermarkt).
Manager Frank Lampard praised Pulisic’s quality after the game against the Eagles, claiming his decision to leave him out was due to the pace of the top-tier of English football and his late return from international duty in the summer (via FourFourTwo).
Fans believe Pulisic is fit and that the reason to pull him out of the latest international break was to rest him for the upcoming clash against Manchester City.
Here is a selection of tweets from the Stamford Bridge faithful:
I think this a tactical move… our boy is alright. He’s focusing on City.

Pulisic at the end of the crystal palace game when he realized international duty was coming and he would once again have to deal with crappy coaching… pic.twitter.com/0FIexbhQBC

Tactical move no different than Jorginho’s yellow vs Watford. City awaits and ducks need to be in a row.

lol, gotta keep him risk free from injury and fresh for the 23rd!

Well Pulisic just doesn’t wanna be with a crap coach like Berhalter, and to be honest i don’t blame him. Its a meaningless game and CP needs to stay in Europe and rest. Pulisic will be available to face man city #BerhalterOut https://t.co/mzGpCa84o1

I thought Lamp would have used that template on Kante, substituting him towards the end claiming injury.
