Chelsea fans have been blasting Jose Mourinho for his lack of loyalty after the Portuguese was named as manager of Tottenham Hotspur.
The news hasn’t gone down well for fans of the Stamford Bridge giants after he managed the Blues for two spells between 2004-2007 and 2013-2015.
He enjoyed a hugely successful time in west London during the first spell, winning back-to-back Premier League titles, but he was sacked following a meeting with Roman Abramovich (via The Independent).
He returned for a second spell and led the club to their third Premier League title under his management; however, he was sacked again.
Following a move to rivals Manchester United, Mourinho enjoyed a strained relationship with Chelsea fans, and his appointment at Spurs seems to have made things worse.
Fans were blasting the 56-year-old for taking the job at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as they took to Twitter to react.
Here is a selection of tweets from Chelsea fans:
I think this would be final nail in coffin for Chelsea fans and Jose Mourinho love affair.
After United now Spurs and London rival. I dunno personally for me it’ll be too far.
Man’s gotta have some loyalty.
