Chelsea: Fans express how much they miss Diego Costa

It’s Diego Costa’s birthday today.
Indeed, the bullish old-school centre-forward, who won two league titles with Chelsea and was involved in slight altercations with opposition such as Eric Dier, Jordan Henderson and Gabriel during his time on these shores, certainly made an impact after moving from Atletico Madrid in 2014.
The Spaniard spent three seasons at Stamford Bridge, scoring 58 goals for the Blues while providing 24 assists (as per TransferMarkt) and also won the League Cup during his stint in SW6.
Still, Costa’s final season in England was a miserable one, and after being dropped from the Blues’ first team squad by then-manager Antonio Conte for the first half of the 2017/18 campaign, he joined Atletico Madrid in January 2018.
He may now be back in Spain, but his legacy in west London will live on forever if the reactions below are anything to go by.
Here’s what some Chelsea fans had to say about their former marksman on his 31st birthday:
Best striker we’ve ever had. Hit like if you agree and give me a follow. I’ll follow back.
