Chelsea boss Frank Lampard rolled back the years with his trademark long-range effort in training.
The Blues legend, in his first season as manager, has led his team to a solid start in the Premier League thus far – losing just one in seven Premier League games and winning four whilst introducing many youngsters to the fold.
Tammy Abraham and Mason Mount have particularly impressed, with the former netting eight goals so far this campaign and sitting joint-top scorer in the league with Sergio Aguero.
However, it never hurts to occasionally enjoy a trip down memory lane with a nostalgic shot of your former glory days, does it?
Lampard did exactly that in training at Cobham, casually laying off a dead ball and lashing an all too familiar effort into the top corner past an on-looking Willy Caballero in goal.
Following the finish, all we got from the gaffer was a faint smile in remembering the countless strikes he netted at Stamford Bridge in becoming the highest-scoring midfielder ever to grace the English top flight.
A period in Chelsea’s history fans remember all too fondly, here’s how they reacted:

Lamps should be our manager for the next 20 years. He’ll become a World Class manager. Even better than Mourinho and Fergie. All the signs are there.
