Chelsea: Fans label Cesc Fabregas’ assist as the best the club’s ever seen

Chelsea fans labelled Cesc Fabregas’ assist for Andre Schurrle’s goal against Burnley back during the 2014/2015 season as the best the club’s ever seen, after comparisons with Jorginho’s last weekend.
The Spanish midfielder joined the club from Barcelona in the summer of 2014 and went on to enjoy a brilliant start to his career in west London, assisting 15 goals in his first 21 games for the club (via Transfermarkt).
His assist against Burnley was brilliant as he played a first time ball with a number of Burnley players between him and the German attacker.

Meanwhile, Jorginho played a sumptuous pass in the build-up to the opening goal against Watford, doing so without even looking at the run made by Tammy Abraham (via Chelsea).
The Italy international’s pass for the England international’s goal against the Hornets was labelled as ‘out of this world’ by BBC pundit Garth Crooks, who included the midfielder in his team of the week.
However, despite the high praise, fans took to Twitter to label Fabregas’ pass as the best assist Chelsea has ever seen.
Here is a selection of tweets from the west London faithful:
