Chelsea fans are a little bit concerned about the news that star-player Eden Hazard has been ruled out of his side’s Europa League encounter with BATE at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.
Blues boss Maurizio Sarri confirmed on Wednesday that the Belgian international suffered a back injury against Manchester United on Saturday and that the medical staff will work hard to have him ready for their trip to Burnley in the Premier League this coming Sunday.
Hazard has been in superb form for Chelsea so far this season and is the leading goal-scorer in the league having found the net on seven occasions already. With Alvaro Morata struggling to hit form since the start of the season, a lot of importance has been placed on the 27-year-old to lead Chelsea to success this season.
The injury has however led to some fans calling on the manager to give someone like teenager Callum Hudson-Odoi an opportunity on Thursday.
Here are some of their Twitter reactions:
Let him rest, we need him fit for a a big season ahead, surely we've got the talent to cover his absence for a couple of games.
