Chelsea: Fans over the moon after Tammy Abraham scores on return to action - Chelsea

Chelsea fans were over the moon after Tammy Abraham scored for the Blues in the club’s 2-1 win over Aston Villa.

The England international was left unmarked in the middle of the penalty box as Reece James whipped in a cross from the right-hand side for the opening goal of the game.

His performance in his return proved to be far more fruitful than Olivier Giroud’s for the side in their 1-0 defeat to West Ham United.

Abraham had five shots, two of them on target, and scored a goal against the Villians.

Meanwhile, Giroud had just two shots with one on target, the same amount as centre-back Kurt Zouma, in the defeat to the Irons.

Fans were ecstatic after Abraham notched his 11th league goal, in just 13 starts, of the season as they took to Twitter to react.
