Chelsea fans are vehemently against reports linking them with Ligue 1 striker Habib Diallo.
It would seem the Blues aren’t in desperate need of a forward after the starts Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi have enjoyed. The England international is second in the Premier League goalscoring charts with 10 goals, while Batshuayi has scored seven goals in just 343 minutes across the first-team and under-23s.
However, any move for Diallo may have to be in next summer’s transfer window, with Chelsea in the midst of a two-window transfer ban which ends after January.
Fans were refusing to accept the transfer story as they took to Twitter to react, with one pointing out the disastrous signing that was Tiémoué Bakayoko, who of course also came from Ligue 1.
Here is a selection of tweets from the west London faithful:

Terrific form of 8goals in 13 appearance. But have Abraham with 10goals in 12appearance, what’s the need?

Sounds like a useless signing. Why not spend on Timo Werner or Halaand?
