Chelsea: Fans were pleased to hear Jorginho named as Blues’ vice-captain
Chelsea fans took to Twitter to share their delight upon hearing that Jorginho has been named the club’s vice-captain.

Frank Lampard revealed in his pre-match press conference ahead of their Sunday trip to Southampton that the Italy midfielder was his choice for the role and went on to laud the player’s qualities that are thought to make him the perfect man for the job.
The manager highlighted Jorginho’s character as he suggested the player has a personality that is good for the dressing room, whilst he also noted just how improved the midfielder’s English has become, which would make the communication on the pitch a lot easier.
The 27-year-old had a difficult debut season at Stamford Bridge last year, as he came in for a lot of criticism under Maurizio Sarri, however he appears to have found his place in Lampard’s team and seems to be a mainstay in the side (Transfermarkt).
Fans on Twitter appear to have changed their tune on Jorginho over the last 12 months, with many of them delighted with Lampard’s decision to name him as their new vice-captain.
