Chelsea: Most fans still love “legend” Eden Hazard despite exit
Eden Hazard’s departure from Chelsea this summer was a bitter blow considering the club were banned from making any signings, but when Real Madrid come callings, it’s hard to refuse. He’s had a mixed start to his career in Spain, making six appearances but only scoring once and making one assist.
During his time at Chelsea he won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and a League Cup, scoring 110 goals and making 92 assists from 352 appearances, according to Transfermarkt.

The Belgian still has a lot of affection for the Blues and expressed it when on international duty this weekend. Speaking to reporters, he said: “Maybe with two or three more players they would [be] first. When I saw them play it’s nice, they all play together. I still have good friends there. I follow them all the time. They are winning at the moment so I’m just happy for them.” (Quotes via Metro)
Chelsea fans don’t appear to have taken the departure to heart, and when one supporter shared the video on Twitter he captioned it: “I miss this guy. Chelsea legend”. The video has been seen over 70,000 times, and the vast majority of fans were quick to reply and express their love for the man many describe as a club legend.
