Chelsea hero could yet leave as part of £100m overhaul

Having recently watched their side win another Premier League title, the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern haven’t stopped celebrating.

The Blues in the bar were delighted to see Antonio Conte restore their side to the top of English football. Indeed, there will always be a special place in hearts of the west London faithful for both the Italian and the man who scored the goal to secure the title, a certain Michy Batshuayi.

So, reports from the Daily Mirror really haven’t gone down too well. They claim the Belgian could still leave Stamford Bridge this summer, after enduring a relatively frustrating campaign.

Signed for big money over the course of last summer, the 23-year-old is yet to start a game for the Blues in the Premier League and his title-winning goal was just his second outside of cup competition.

Though Chelsea are reportedly reluctant to sell just yet as they await to see what happens with the rest of their strike force, it’s believed the club could opt to sell both he and Diego Costa.

In doing so, it’s understood that money could be put towards a £100m move for Everton star Romelu Lukaku.
