For once this season, as it draws to its feeble close for Chelsea, both the supporters and those at the club appear to be on the same page.
That’s because, according to the Sun, the Blues remain hopeful that iconic skipper John Terry will agree to the one-year deal he was recently offered.
For months, it had seemed as if the Stamford stalwart would leave at the end of the season after he announced back in January he was not to be offered a new deal.
After months of speculation, including suggestions he could move to China for a lucrative payday, it was confirmed on Friday he would be offered a new deal.
It is claimed that while the West London giants are hopeful of him agreeing to it, they have imposed a deadline of July 11th as they await his decision.
Should Terry be kept on another year? What’s the point if it is only part time?
