Chelsea increasingly confident of landing £35m Belgian, player open to Premier League move

Radja Nainggolan

The name Radja Nainggolan may not be the easiest to wrap your tongue around (especially after a few Transfer Tavern pints) but it’s certainly one that’s increasingly bandied about our four walls.

Chelsea have been strongly linked with making a move for the box-to-box Belgian bruiser and reports today from ESPN suggest the Blues are growing increasingly confident of sealing a deal.

Antonio Conte is thought to have earmarked the roaming Roma ace as a top target as he plots a major overhaul in West London when takes over after Euro 2016.

While the Serie A giants are reported to be reluctant to lose the 27-year old, there is understood to be a hopeful feeling at Stamford Bridge in regards to the deal should they meet a £35m valuation.

The Belgium star is believed to be open to the prospect of moving to the Premier League, following in the footsteps of a number of his international teammates.

Eden Hazard currently plies his trade with Chelsea, while sides from up and down the country boast the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku and Vincent Kompany.

Is Nainggolan the man to revitalise the Chelsea midfield?
