It’s not very often the bar-stool-experts in the Transfer Tavern are shocked when it comes to hearing about transfer rumours. Especially during the proverbial silly season.
Still, the Chelsea fans propping up the bar cannot seem to wrap their heads around this one.
According to Sky Italia, via Inside Fubtol, Blues midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah is a target for Serie A side Torino.
The England under-21 international has spent the season with Napoli, though has seldom been able to truly impose himself on first-team proceedings with I Ciucciarelli.
While he is no doubt a promising talent, the 21-year old has endured a mixed time away from Stamford Bridge when farmed out to the likes of Burnley, Watford and Nottingham Forest.
Now, the Turin based side are reportedly keen on bringing him to the club this summer, in a shock attempt to keep the dominant central midfielder playing in Serie A.
Where’s it gone wrong for Chalobah? Could he be an England star?
