It’s seemingly quite inevitable that Eden Hazard has his mind set on moving to Real Madrid in the summer after reports from the Telegraph claimed he'd be ready to reject a new deal at Stamford Bridge in order to force through a move to Spain.

However, Chelsea’s management and fans surely aren’t really ready to let that go through so easily. After everything he’s done for them this season, producing moments of pure brilliance, nobody in their right minds would be willing to let him go.

Yes, he's done pretty much all he can in West London but the Blues haven't been a selling club since Roman Abramovich turned them into a European powerhouse back in 2003.

Indeed, Hazard’s been the reason for Chelsea’s little joy under the frustrating Maurizio Sarri. His most recent strike against West Ham, where he danced past multiple players to score a beauty made the fans fall in love with him again and proved why Los Blancos would surely be so keen to sign him. The Belgian took his tally to 16 goals for the season, having also assisted 12 in the league.

He’s giving the best possible audition for a move to Zinedine Zidane’s side, but Chelsea will have to play some hardball with the deal. Though Maurizio Sarri has called for people to respect his wishes if the former Lille ace does want to depart, the club shouldn't give up easily. He's that good.

While the Blues still have promising youngsters like Callum Hudson-Odoi and the arriving Christian Pulisic to slot in for him, there’s nobody quite like Hazard, something Chelsea will somberly come to realize next season.
