Chelsea rocked as £33m for top target snubbed, stunning deal cast into doubt

News has trickled in from Italy regarding Chelsea’s pursuit of Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

While it has come blow to the Chelsea supporting waitress, our cynical as ever Landlord has shown little surprise.

According to Sky Italia, the Blues have had a THIRD bid rejected for the combative Belgian star snubbed by the Serie A giants.

It has been a long pursuit of the 28-year old from those behind the scenes in West London, who’ve been linked with a move for the midfielder ever since Antonio Conte’s appointment.

The player himself has previously revealed his desire to stay in the Italian capital, where he has plied his trade since 2014, when he joined from Cagliari.

Chelsea’s bid of £33m is said to have been snubbed by Giallorossi, as they stand firm over the central midfielder.

Since the departure of Ramires from West London in January, the Blues propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern have been lamenting the club’s lack of dynamism in the engine room.

How crucial a signing would Nainggolan be for Chelsea?
