The Football Transfer Tavern Landlord has had a tip that Chelsea are set to announce the end of striker, Alexandre Pato’s, loan deal with the club later this week.
French website Sambafoot are reporting that Chelsea will not be acting on the option to buy clause which was introduced in the Brazilian’s loan deal when he made the move to Stamford Bridge in January.
With his deal ending on June 30th, the 26-year-old looks set to return to Brazil with little interest in him, after having only made two appearances for Chelsea in his six months at the club.
The Chelsea fans in the bar are not concerned about the departure of the Brazilian international but are wondering what will happen to him once he returns to his native Brazil. With Pato being on a hefty salary and not in the supporters good books his future is currently up in the air.
The former Inter Milan youngster has reportedly turned down big offers from Asia in order to see out his contract in Brazil and secure a move without the obstacle of a transfer fee for Corinthians.
Chelsea fans, do you think Pato could have ever been a success? Would he have worked out under Conte? Let us know what you think below!
