Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been discussing what sort of deals their side could complete in 2017 and one rumour has got everybody talking.
Italian outlet Transfermarketweb state Antonio Conte is keeping tabs on Torino forward Andrea Belotti, with Diego Costa’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge in doubt.
The 23-year-old striker has impressed in Italian football this season and has made a huge impression on the international stage, netting three goals in his first five appearances for the Azzurri.
With a buy-out clause of 100 million euros, Torino rate the player highly but will find it difficult to keep the striker at the club, with Arsenal reportedly seeing a huge bid rejected earlier this month- something the Gunners have denied.
The Gunners interest continues to be mentioned in the tabloids though and the emergence of Chelsea on the market sees the chase heat-up to be a really exciting one, with our landlord unable to predict the winners.
The Blues fans by the bar here in the Tavern admit they don’t know too much about Belotti, but believe it is important the club sign a new striker to complement Diego Costa!
