Chelsea should look to rebuild their attack by signing £22.5m-rated attacking maestro

The Chelsea fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are hoping to see an improvement to their squad this summer, so they can start building towards a bigger, brighter future with some fresh talent.

After enduring a season to forget, Chelsea will now be in search of players who can reignite their chances of reaching at least the top four places once again.

Our punters are very keen on RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg, who they believe is a player that can spur the team towards prosperity.

Valued at £22.5 million by Transfer Markt, Forsberg has been a regular in the German side’s midfield over the course of the last season, adding contributions in attack mostly but also helping his side out defensively.

The Swedish playmaker made 33 appearances last season, scoring 5 goals as well as adding 4 assists. Forsberg, who is 26, couldn’t keep up to the brilliantly high standards he managed in the 2016/17 season, where, in less games, he added 8 goals and a staggering 22 assists. Nonetheless, his talent is clear for all to see.

Chelsea seem to be lacking a player of Emil Forsberg’s attacking quality and in the hope that they can launch a significant title bid once again, this is the calibre of player the Blues need to aspire to reach.

With the ability to play on both wings and also through the middle as an attacking midfielder, what better way to improve 3 positions at once than to sign Emil Forsberg.

Chelsea will be hoping to make amends to their poor transfer windows of last season and capturing the 26-year-old would be an amazing signal of intent to kick proceedings off.

Is Emil Forsberg the answer to Chelsea’s problems, get involved and let us know!
