Chelsea have started to gradually find a bit of momentum that will hopefully land them some silverware and a top four finish by the end of the season.
Maurizio Sarri will hope to put a rocky start to his Chelsea career behind him and get a trophy under his belt, in what would be his first as a manager.
The Blues have the team capable of doing it but consistency has been their biggest issue for some time now.
For that to happen, significant investment again needs to take place this summer and then Chelsea could find themselves back in contention for the league, as an example.
A position that especially needs addressing is the striker role and a player that could do a very good job there is Portuguese international Andre Silva.
Silva, (who is valued at £31.5 million on Transfermarkt) is currently on-loan with Sevilla but is set to return to parent club AC Milan in the summer, despite enjoying a number of good displays in Spain.
Good strikers have eluded Chelsea for the last couple of years and they have had their fair share of deals that have worked and others that haven’t.
Nevertheless, with Giroud and Higuain only having contracts until the summer, Chelsea could face a real problem about not having a striker if they’re not careful.
Great consideration must go into any potential deal and Andre Silva could be a player that works well for the Blues.
Having scored 11 goals and provided two assists this season, Silva has gone some way to showing the striker he could be and with better service available to him at Chelsea, he could be set for big things.
