Chelsea should target £17.1m-rated attacker to help provide more flair alongside Hazard

The Chelsea fans in and around the Transfer Tavern are praying that their team will start performing again after some shocking performances have meant they will be playing Europa League football this coming season.

From title winners to a team not being good enough to make the top four, Chelsea over the last 12 months have been a figment of their past selves, and that is something that certainly needs to be amended in this summer’s transfer window. Our punters have been scouting potential transfers they would love to see at Stamford Bridge, and 24-year-old attacker Talisca is a name that stands out.

The Brazilian playmaker, who is valued at £17.1 million by Transfer Markt, has this season played his football out on loan to Turkish giants Besiktas.

The 24-year-old has been fantastic, scoring 20 goals as well as getting 8 assists, which is a great record for an attacking midfielder. Chelsea have been short of a player that could play behind a striker with Eden Hazard playing more out wide this season. Neither Pedro or Willian have quite been at that level over the last year, and that offensive flair is needed when competing at the highest level.

Therefore it only seems right that Talisca is the perfect player to fill that much-needed void for the Blues in order to improve next season.

It won’t be an easy task if Chelsea were to try and get his signature, especially given their lack of European football, but the Blues would really have to sell themselves to try and persuade the Brazilian to London.

Whatever happens this summer, Chelsea need to make sure they strengthen instead of regress like last summer in order for them to again challenge the top four.
