The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern honestly couldn’t be in a better mood of late. Top of the league under Antonio Conte, the Blues look as solid as the early Jose Mourinho era once again.
One of the most satisfying things for our west London locals is the fact their masterful Italian coach has seemingly eradicated most of their many problems by looking in-house and making clever decisions.
For a club that so often act rashly, the Stamford Bridge faithful propping up the bar don’t quite know what to make of this change in ethos.
Still, reports emanating out of Italy have only furthered that trend.
According to Gianluca di Marzio, technical director Michael Emenalo was in attendance at the San Siro recently, checking up on-loan midfielder Mario Pasalic at AC Milan.
Like many young talents to have been bought by the Bridge titans, the Croatian has failed to make much impact on the first-team amid a spate of loan spell across Europe.
However, he’s been in good form for the Rossoneri and Conte has shown a willingness to work with talents in a style different to his predecessors in SW6.
Just what Emenalo made of the 21-year-old’s outing remains to be seen, though our Chelsea supporting punters find it promising that he’s not been entirely forgotten about.
Seen much of Pasalic? Could he break into Chelsea’s first-team? Let us know below..
