Having already seen one snubbed, those at SW6 seem to be hell-bent on luring the Scot south of the border to operate as their second choice, should Asmir Begovic leave.
It would be a return to England for the ex-Sunderland stopper, who played for the Black Cats between 2007 and 2012 and the Chelsea fans would be happy to see him brought in as a backup.
