Chelsea touted to suffer double summer transfer blow

Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are confident that the title will be at Stamford Bridge in only a matter of time, but they are worried about the summer window.

The Blues have been going nicely in the league and despite losing to Crystal Palace only recently, they have recovered brilliantly with another two wins since then.

They’re seven points clear of Tottenham at this point, then, and it really would take a spectacular collapse for them to throw it away now.

The summer, though, could throw some obstacles in the way of the club aiming to achieve domestic and European domination as – according to The Sun – Diego Costa and Eden Hazard could on their way out.

According to their report, Chelsea striker Costa is not happy in London whilst the Belgian international Hazard is being lined up by Real Madrid and so a massive double loss could hit the Blues in the near future.

Antonio Conte, then, will be hoping it doesn’t impact the club too much if it does happen, but that is easier said than done.
