Chelsea would seriously strengthen attack with clever move for £9m-rated Argentine attacker

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are rightly disappointed with how they season has gone, given how dominant they were in victory during the last campaign.

A number of factors have resulted in the Blues finishing outside of the top four this season and with even more money being pumped into the Premier League, Chelsea will be sure to spend this summer in order to amend this poor season. It’s been a huge debate for a long time now as to whether Antonio Conte will remain as the Blues boss but whatever happens, transfers coming into the club are a must.

A player who has performed well for Sevilla over in La Liga is winger Joaquin Correa, who is valued at £9.00 million on Transfermarkt. The winger might be heavily associated with an awful miss earlier in the season but Correa has been a big player for Sevilla who reached the Champions League quarter-finals this year.

The 23-year-old has made 36 appearances so far this season, scoring 7 goals and assisting 7 times as well. The Argentinian has been consistent on the wing and always looks threatening, which signifies the makings of a good player. Correa has also featured three times for his country and even managed a goal as well.

Chelsea will certainly have to re-evaluate their attacking options this summer with a number of players not living up to expectations.

Landlord’s Verdict:

Joaquin Correa is a talented winger and a player that would fit right in at Chelsea our punters believe. With pace, trickery and finishing ability in abundance, his low value could allow him to be a surprising star next year in the Premier League.
