Chelsea have been extremely underwhelming in recent weeks which has led to much debate about Maurizio Sarri's future with the club.

Fans have voiced their opinion on the Italian coach and it seems like already, he's on a tightrope. With performances at an all-time low, that pressure then piles on the manager who has had his fair share of controversy already.

The majority of Stamford Bridge is clearly not happy and that could lead to big change coming in the summer, involving both staff and players.

There is a great need for better recruitment as Chelsea have slipped from being title contenders to fighting to get in the top four.

That isn't good enough for a club as big as the Blues, meaning they need to make some big statements.

The first of which could be the capture of German attacker Julian Brandt, a player that is young and full of potential to get even better.

Brandt, (who is valued at £36 million on Transfermarkt) has been one of Bayer Leverkusen's standout players so far this season, as he continues to supply the goods for his team.

The German international - who is very highly rated - has seven goals and nine assists across all competitions so far this season, an indication as to how well he has been playing.

Chelsea right now could only dream of such a creative star within their ranks, with the need for some fresh talent in the summer now blatantly obvious.

With Brandt capable of playing on either side or down the middle as an attacking-midfielder, the potential is endless with the 22-year-old at Stamford Bridge.

Do you agree that Julian Brandt would make a good signing for Chelsea... Let us know!
