Conte approves £30m Chelsea playmaker deal after pre-season nightmare

The story of Chelsea’s summer so far has been more towards big name arrivals at Stamford Bridge, though the fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited to see who he axes from a squad that disappointed so much.

The Italian coach is constantly linked with moves for the likes of Riyad Mahrez or Alvaro Morata, though the players he choses to dispose of will have just as big an impact in crafting his squad.

According to the Sun, the former Juventus boss has decided upon the first big name victim of his Stamford Bridge cull.

The Blues chief is reportedly ready to sell Oscar in a £30m deal to Inter Milan after growing frustrated at his lack of work rate during the club’s pre-season.

Often deploying a high intensity brand of football, the 46-year old is said to not view the 24-year old as the man to help implement it.

Oddly enough, it is a situation akin to the Juan Mata and Jose Mourinho saga back in 203/14 for the West London giants.

The Nerazurri are thought to have made enquiries for the midfielder and are ready to spend big on him following their Chinese takeover.

Has Oscar flattered to deceive for a number of seasons now? Is Conte right to axe him? Let us know below…
