Conte instructs Chelsea bosses to secure Serie A star, will link up with familiar face in England

Cuadrado

Much of the talk from the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern over the past few months has been what potential big money signings Antonio Conte will make this summer.

After such a torrid term, the Blues supporters in this evening are hoping (praying) for major changes as they bid to challenge towards the top of the league once more.

As you can well imagine, a number of top stars have been linked with blockbuster moves to Stamford Bridge this summer, though one of the biggest adjustments to the squad could come from a more familiar face.

According to Italian daily Tuttosport (via the Sun), Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado is set to return to West London after spending the season on loan with Juventus.

Having failed to impress during his initial six months as a Premier League player following a move from Fiorentina in January 2015, the speedy winger has farmed out to the Old Lady for the entirety of this campaign.

While the Serie A champions were believed to be interested in making it a more permanent arrangement, it is claimed Conte has instructed those behind the scenes with the Blues it is imperative the 27-year old returns.

Can Conte bring out the best in Cuadrado?
