‘Conte out’ – Chelsea fans slate title winner following Eden Hazard’s comments

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have made their stance in Antonio Conte clear after their 1-1 draw at home to West Ham yesterday. Eden Hazard was unable to make a significant impact as Javier Hernadez second-half goal cancelled out Cesar Azplilicueta’a opener in the score draw at Stamford Bridge that has led to Chelsea fans calling for Conte to be sacked from his job with the club.

Chelsea have not been anywhere near their best in 2018 and have struggled to maintain the form required for a top four side. The Blues have won just three of their eleven games since the turn of the year, losing five games in that period. The fans have turned on Conte and labelled him as the sole reason for their failings this season as they now find themselves ten points behind Tottenham with just six games remaining.

The club has one game to look forward to though, as they face Southampton in the last four of the FA Cup. If they can beat Mark Hughes’ side and reach the Wembley final they’ll be up against either Manchester United or Tottenham, who have both taken three points off of them since the 1st January. The club will be hoping that Eden Hazard can turn his words into actions as he looks to prove his world-class status and drag Chelsea out of their rut and into the FA Cup final.
