After Antonio Conte led the Blues back to the top of English football following an unprecedented implosion under Jose Mourinho, it seems the club could once again be on a collision course with itself.
Conte has a paper thin squad to pick from ahead of a much busier campaign than last year and reports from Yahoo Sport hint at some serious problems behind the scenes in SW6.
In a report from Duncan Castles, those close to Italian reportedly question whether the former Juventus coach will even be in charge by the end of the season. ”There seemed no doubt he was going to leave Chelsea”, a source is quoted as saying at some point over the summer break.
The 48-year-old is believed to have grievances about how he’s been backed in the market, as well as over the working of Chelsea’s academy and his access to speak to both the board and owner.

It’s really hard to imagine Conte seeing out the season in west London. Once again for Chelsea, there just seem to be so many problems after a title win and life back in the Champions League will only complicate matters even further.
