The fans though have used the post to take a pop at their club, claiming if they had some of their loaned out players at the club then they could’ve taken more than a point in yesterday’s visit of West Ham.

Chelsea have developed a reputation for loaning out player after player without promoting their young stars on their return to Stamford Bridge. Even now, Michy Batshuayi, Tammy Abraham, Kenedy, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kurt Zouma, Marko Van Ginkel and Charly Musonda are all players who wouldn’t look out of place in Chelsea blue at Stamford Bridge, however, they’re not being given their chance and have been loaned out.

In recent years, Chelsea’s loan policy has come back to bite them as players have left The Blues, tired of not being given a chance, and ended up back in the Premier League compiling misery on their former club. Both the Premier League’s top goalscorer and the current favourite to win Premier League player of the season, Mo Salah and Kevin De Bruyne are former Chelsea players who walked away from the Bridge.  There’s not a Chelsea fan out there who wouldn’t jump at the chance to have Salah and De Bruyne in blue, although they’ve only got their club to thank.
