Dutchman sensationally announces Chelsea move in first big name arrival of Conte era

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern who’ve been baying for big name arrivals have been met with a shock acquisition heading into what promises to be a huge summer for the club.

However, while many were expecting blockbuster players to be the first priority this summer, the Blues in the Tavern have been met with some very welcome news indeed.

Outgoing boss Guus Hiddink is now set to STAY in West London next season in an advisory, according to FOX Sports.

The 69-year old stepped into the frame in the wake of Jose Mourinho’s dismissal back in December and largely steadied the ship, though it did prove to be an unspectacular season in West London.

While he was unable to replicate the FA Cup success he delivered during his first interim spell in charge of the Blues back in 2009, he remains a popular amongst both the players and support.

Conte was confirmed as the long-term successor to the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’ last month on a three-year deal after Hiddink steps away from his role in the dugout.

However, the former Real Madrid boss has revealed he will remain with the club, though in a consultancy role.

He will help the club’s younger players make into the first-team, something that has proved to be a major criticism of the Blues.

“You often see that the young players are not always easy to link up with the first team,” Hiddink told FOX Sports in the Nertherlands.

“You have to use them through sparingly, otherwise they can end up burnt out.

“I already did that with Bertrand Traore and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, but it needs to happen more often.”

How important is it that Chelsea start to make use of their wealth of young talent?
