The season ends for both Chelsea and Arsenal tomorrow as the capital counterparts gear up for a massive FA Cup final.
For the punters in the Transfer Tavern, it’s one of the biggest games of the campaign and both the Gunners and the Blues are at each others’ throats in the build-up to the Wembley showpiece.
So, reports from the Daily Mail hinting at some early team news have sparked the interest of both groups. They’ve revealed Chelsea star Nemanja Matic is line for a recall to the starting line-up for the final, replacing former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas in Antonio Conte’s midfield.
The Serbian has not started a game since his side won the league at West Brom though is reportedly expected to partner N’Golo Kante in the engine room.
With Arsenal famously struggling against his strength in the past, the Gunners are more worried about their chances now, though are happy they may not have to take the pain of Fabregas strutting his stuff.
