Who needs a trophy anyway? The cup final drama is now a distant memory for most Chelsea supporters, instead, they’re focused on backing their team to finish in the top four this season. That's the most crucial thing. Surely a club like this can't go another season without the Champions Leauge? Surely

Maurizio Sarri may not be the manager many want but he can still amend a poor few months with a good finish to the season.

He would certainly recover the trust of a number of supporters if he started trusting the extremely talented youngsters he has available to him - one namely being Ethan Ampadu. The Welshman, (who is valued at £9 million on Transfermarkt) has made five first-team appearances so far this season but unless Chelsea make some moves to up that, he may just be another wasted talent.

The truth is, Ampadu is more than good enough to become a regular at Chelsea and the Blues must count themselves lucky to have a player as good as he.

The 18-year-old operates either as a centre-back or defensive-midfielder, roles Chelsea would probably usally spend millions on filling this summer instead of just using the wonderkid talent.

However, with a potential transfer ban, that might be a blessing in disguise and a sign for the Blues to start using Ampadu more.

He's already a Wales international and is only getting started in his football career. Gary Cahill is out of contract this summer and instead of shelling out loads on a replacement, Chelsea must realise it's time to start trusting Ethan Ampadu to deliver the goods.
