Is Eden Hazard going to stay at Chelsea or is he going to leave?

It’s a question only the Belgian can answer, but if he does eventually decide to go, the Blues need to plan an appropriate replacement. It’ll be a difficult job to find a superstar with the same swagger about him like Hazard, but there are options if they look closely.

One of those options is Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa, a player Chelsea are monitoring closely - as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport via CalcioMercato at the start of this month.

Indeed, the Italian winger is certainly made of similar stuff like Hazard, having the ability to whiz past his opponents and create chances out of nothing. While he definitely needs to add more end product to his game in order to reach the Belgian's level, the unpredictability he plays with

He’s lit up the Viola multiple times this season, producing majestic moments and displaying his blooming talent. Chiesa’s also recorded 11 goals and 3 assists in all competitions, being especially lethal in the Coppa Italia. An extremely creative winger, he’s lit up Fiorentina’s style with his genius through-balls.

However, what makes him a delight to watch is Chiesa’s movement with the ball. He can dribble as good as anyone in Chelsea’s side, moving forward and leaving defenders bamboozled with his trickery. Chiesa’s heroics has caught the attention of not only Chelsea, but a flurry of top Italian clubs too.

If Chelsea truly want him that bad, they’ll need to splash big cash on him. Due to their transfer ban, they can’t sign him anytime soon.

However, they can strike an agreement to sign him once the ban is lifted, receiving the stylish Italian primed and ready to light up the Premier League.
