Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait to see their side start signing players as they are hoping for some very exciting acquisitions.
The men from Stamford Bridge won the league relatively comfortably last season in the end and they know that it’s more than likely going to be a far more difficult task defending their crown.
Indeed, when you consider that they have Champions League football on the agenda, too, it becomes pretty clear that some top quality additions are needed.
The Blues, then, need to get going in the market but whilst we wait to see who they manage to sign it does seem as though Tammy Abraham has a bright future – whether or not he stays at the club for next season.
Indeed, he scored last night in England’s U21 semi-final against Germany – though he also missed a penalty – and the whole performance has many Blues talking on what was ultimately a disappointing night.
Here’s the best of the reaction:

He missed a PK..You will probably sell him off for £18m and buy him back in 2022 for £150m
