Though many of the west London locals in the Transfer Tavern seemed to forget last year, there’s little doubt Diego Costa is one of the best strikers in the world.
The Spaniard endured a frustrating time of things last season, though has been back in the goals this time around and currently tops the Premier League scoring charts.
With 7 goals to his name thus far, the 28-year-old has established himself once again as one of the most lethal in Europe.
In fact, thanks to a stat tweeted by Opta, it’s now been revealed that the La Roja international has the BEST ever conversion rate in Chelsea’s PL history.
133 – Diego Costa has the best minutes per goal ratio for Chelsea in PL history (min. 10 goals), scoring every 133 minutes. Menace. pic.twitter.com/DqavIDxFZ2

For every player who has scored over 10 goals for the Stamford Bridge giants over their time in the league, Costa has notched the most frequently, bagging one every 133 minutes.
When you consider the likes of Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard led the line for so long, it’s a pretty amazing stat.
