Pretty much all of Chelsea’s summer transfer activity has centred around players leaving the club, much to the frustration of the punters propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern.
While the Blues in the bar are eager to see Antonio Conte splash the cash at the Bridge, few would argue against the Blues’ success when it comes to loaning players out, to then make a pretty profit on those largely on the periphery of the first-team.
So, news from Bleacher Report’s Dean Jones suggest the Stamford Bridge giants are set to put the wheels in motion over another potential deal of that ilk has our west London locals chatting once again. According to his tweet, the club are set to pen promising youngster Kasey Palmer down to a new deal, before loaning him out to Premier League new boys Huddersfield Town.

The 20-year-old spent last term on loan in West Yorkshire and played a part in their promotion under David Wagner, impressing the eagle-eyed Chelsea fans in our bar, who were constantly checking on his progress.
Whether or not he’ll make it at Chelsea in the long run remains to be seen, the idea of impressing in the Premier League while out on loan could add to his value, meaning the club could make yet more money in the years to come.
