Maurizio Sarri is an exciting appointment for Chelsea but he needs the correct tools to do a job with the Blues.

The correct tools in this case are new signings as so far, Sarri has settled for just the one signing, in the form of Jorginho. Having missed out on the top four last season, Chelsea know more than others that the solution is to spend on new talent for the squad. Unfortunately, right now for the Blues, the media is more focused on who is set to exit Stamford Bridge rather than who will join.

With all the talk about Willian leaving the club, Chelsea should go ahead and let the Brazilian leave in order to pursue Kingsley Coman as a replacement.

Coman, 22, is a player that with the right club and manager could thrive massively. The Frenchman began life at Bayern Munich very well but last season struggled with injuries during the last part, forcing his time to be spent on the sideline rather than on the pitch making things happen. Despite these interruptions, Coman scored 7 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions last season, proving worthy of his £45 million valuation.

Playing as either a right or left winger, Kingsley Coman is the man Chelsea need to employ with the possibility of both Willian and Eden Hazard leaving the club. The Frenchman missed out on the World Cup squad due to injury so good club performances with a club like Chelsea could allow him to be back in contention.

Maurizio Sarri can make a huge early statement as Chelsea boss should he pursue Coman, a player that brings bags of pace, trickery and most of goalscoring opportunities for himself as well as teammates.
