The situation between Chelsea and Antonio Conte seemed to drag on for too long, leaving Maurizio Sarri in something of a rush to get his side prepared for their first Premier League clash of the season, away to Huddersfield Town.

Huddersfield surprised many onlookers last season by surviving relegation, German manager David Wagner working wonders in West Yorkshire to guide the Terriers to safety. Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy once again starred at the Kirklees Stadium. A player with real technical ability, Chelsea will need to make sure they are aware of the ability Mooy has in the pass.

It will be a tough ask for Maurizio Sarri to get his Chelsea side back in to the Premier League top four. Their current squad looks a long way from challenging again, Sarri will want more players at his disposal if he is to revolutionise Chelsea.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have so far signed Jorginho for an initial £50m from Napoli. Sarri might want to raid his former club for more players.

With that in mind, Sarri needs to ensure these two stars are signed before the Huddersfield fixture...

The giant 6ft 5 centre-back would be a huge presence in the Chelsea defence, in the tough environment of an away game at Huddersfield Town.

The Senegalese player played a crucial role for Napoli in their Serie A season last term, in which they pushed giants Juventus all the way in an attempt to win Serie A. He is a player well-known by Maurizio Sarri.

Koulibaly is more than just a physical and imposing presence. He is composed on the ball and could be a key player in the Chelsea defence throughout the season. The Blues lacked a real leader at the back last season, after John Terry left the club for Aston Villa.

The Mirror report that Wilfried Zaha has handed in a transfer request to the club, and wants a big money move to Stamford Bridge.

Wilfried Zaha is by far and away Palace's most crucial player. The winger has immense skill, pace, technique, and has added a lethal finish to his game. In the games Zaha missed through injury early last season, Palace lost every one without scoring.

Zaha would add a directness to Chelsea's attack which would terrify the Terriers defence.

Sarri should do everything to get the deal over the line before the Blues travel to face Huddersfield Town.
