Having seen their side reclaim the Premier League title this season, the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern certainly are a happy bunch.
The Blues in the bar have been delighted to see just how much Antonio Conte has been able to save what looked like being a side on the decline and are already excited for next season.
With Champions League football back on the agenda at Stamford Bridge, our west London locals are hoping the club remain active in the transfer market, so reports from Portugal have proven interesting today.
According to A Bola, the English champions are keen on the idea of signing Swansea City forward Fernando Llorente this summer. Conte worked with the Spaniard at Juventus for a season and is believed to have been impressed with his form in south Wales.
The 32-year-old – who won the World Cup with Spain in 2010 – has scored the most headed goals in the league this year across the 14 he’s bagged in the Premier League. Indeed, Manchester City are also thought to be keen on the forward as the result of his strong year with the Swans.
While he may not initially prove to be the most exciting signing in the world, he’s definitely one the Chelsea fans in the bar could get on board with.
