Leeds United will be hoping to march towards promotion from the Championship next season under the stewardship of new manager Marcelo Bielsa.

The Whites have gone big in signing the Argentinian to manage the club, and they will be hoping his experience, knowhow, and contacts can give the club the boost it needs to finally win promotion back to the Premier League.

To do so, the club are going to have to bring in some new faces. Too many of last season's squad are simply not up to scratch in terms of being a promotion contender, and it will be interesting to see in the coming weeks just who Bielsa moves in and out of the club.

Leeds desperately need a new striker, and we here in the Transfer Tavern think that instead of trying to push Derby into selling Matej Vydra, the club should instead line up a move for Chelsea youngster Tammy Abraham.

Valued at £9m, a permanent or loan move is something Leeds can potentially consider, and the young striker will be getting to the point where he wants to play regularly, as he eyes up a spot in the next Euro's squad for England after seeing the success of Gareth Southgate's young squad over in Russia this summer.

Abraham is a proven commodity at Championship level following a prolific spell with Bristol City two seasons back, and a move back into the second tier might well appeal.

Quick, good in front of goal, and with plenty to prove, Abraham would be a superb addition for the Whites if they can indeed pull off a summer swoop for the Chelsea man.

Leeds fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
