Mega wealthy suitor could offer Chelsea man tempting olive branch

Following yet another victory, the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been living on Cloud 9 of late as the Blues sit pretty atop the Premier League.

Life in SW6 is going pretty well right now as the Blues continue their winning streak, with our west London locals hell-bent on reclaiming the title they so meekly surrendered last term.

Still, reports from the Sun over the course of the weekend have brought a tear to their eye.

They claim skipper John Terry has been offered a mega deal to quit the Stamford Bridge titans next month, despite having six months left on his deal at his boyhood charges.

Shanghai Shenhua are reportedly ready to slap a one-year deal worth around £12M to tempt the 36-year-old to the Far East.

Now managed by former teammate Gus Poyet, the report suggests Chelsea are unlikely to offer him a new deal as the club embark on a new era under Antonio Conte.

It’s further claimed top brass at the Bridge would wave any transfer receive, with Terry understood to have been offered a stunning £11.9m AFTER tax to move to the Chinese Super League.

Could you blame Terry for one last pay day? Let us know below…
