Mourinho’s Chelsea flop lined up by Premier League rivals

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are delighted about life under Antonio Conte, with the Italian quickly moving to clear up the mess left by Jose Mourinho.

In less than six months, the former Juventus and Italy manager has brought back the sort of solidity that made the Blues such a force under the self-proclaimed ‘Special One’.

Not only that, but the 47-year-old has made moves to rid the club of some of its deadwood, a process that is likely to take a while.

Well, he could be handed some help from a Premier League rival, according to Ghanasoccernet

They’ve revealed Everton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly keen on Baba Rahman as he looks to add some strength to his ranks at Goodison Park.

Signed from Augsburg last year, the African defender struggled for game time at Stamford Bridge and was loaned out to Bundesliga side Schalke earlier this summer.

While the German giants are also thought to be keen on making the 22-year-old’s move permanent, the Toffees clearly have the financial advantage.

Koeman was handed sizeable funds by the club’s wealthy new investors, though struggled in the market and his Everton side currently look rather unbalanced to say the least.

How much is Rahman worth? Let us know below…
