All is not at all well between N’Golo Kante and Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian gaffer has forced Kante into an uncomfortable role, for which the Frenchman’s being unable to perform to his best and the former Napoli coach even moved to criticise one of the best midfielders to ever come into the league. Something’s got to give between the two parties for Kante to find back his best form and turnaround Chelsea’s woes quickly.

If not, the Frenchman could look at other options. According to reports (via Le10 Sport), Kante’s relationship with Sarri is deteriorating quickly because of the midfielder’s discontent with his role. That has gained the interest of Paris-Saint Germain, who are looking for a midfielder to replace Adrien Rabiot in the summer.

If Kante keeps on getting frustrated playing under a system that doesn’t suit him, he might ponder on life beyond Chelsea. While the wonderful French midfielder is patient enough to learn this new role given to him, he could sense his own game deteriorating by it. Kante’s expected to create goals rather than work hard to win back possession, something he's not looking overly comfortable in doing.

He’s playing a more advanced role, which doesn’t suit him. With Jorginho struggling at the defensive midfield role, Kante’s frustrations must be growing. Sarri needs to revert him back into a box-to-box midfield role where he can regain possession, press oppositions and tackle hard.

Even someone as diligent as Kante might get agitated if Chelsea’s deterioration under Sarriball doesn’t change. Having won everything there is in England, a move to try and win the Champions League with PSG might be too good to turn down.
