The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have been reacting to comments made by Jamie Redknapp on Sky Sports after the Blues lost 3-1 at home to Tottenham, ending a 28-year spell without losing to Spurs at Stamford Bridge. The loss has piled more pressure on Italian manager, Antonio Conte as he looks increasingly likely to miss out on Champions League football next season and lose his job.

Chelsea have developed a reputation for being utterly ruthless when sacking managers under the ownership of Roman Abramovich. This ruthless streak could be set to appear again as fans all over the country are expecting to see Antonio Conte sacked in the summer, just a year after guiding Chelsea to the Premier League title with a record amount of wins. This season has been completely different though. Chelsea have been a shadow of what they were last season and are now eight points behind Spurs after their loss yesterday and sit 5th in the table.
The debate has been raging on for a number of weeks now, who will replace Conte when he goes? The fans have been suggesting names via social media at every opportunity with Thomas Tuchel, Leonardo Jardim and Luis Enrique the prime suspects who keep being mentioned among the Blues. Now though, Jamie Redknapp has given his verdict and stated that he doesn’t know where Chelsea can go after the 28-year-old leaves, prompting the Chelsea fans to hit Redknapp with their suggestions for who they want in charge next year.

how about John Terry and Wayne Bridge.. They can job share.. I know JT doesn't mind sharing..

Poch. He'll actually win something at Chelsea for real

Who would want the job? No loyalty from the owner or the fans. When they're high, they're the best manager in the world. Lose a few games and they get binned.

Yeah and with average players in Giroud, Morata etc- they are not going anywhere. They don't deserve to have Conte tbh. @ChelseaFC

Chelsea’s main problem isn’t who manages them. They’re a club that has been badly run for years. They need an overhaul from top to bottom.
