Antonio Conte and Chelsea may be lost amid the Manchester battle for supremacy in the market, though the Blues in the Transfer Tavern refuse to go away.
With N’Golo Kante and Michy Batshuayi through the door already, a number of Italian and Italian based players are linked with moves to West London now Conte is in charge.
One of those is Juventus forward Simone Zaza, with reports from (Gazzetta Dello Sport) Daily Telegraph claiming the Stamford Bridge giants have been offered a clear run at the 25-year old.
The Old Lady are said to be keen on Nemanja Matic, who could see playing time limited following Kante’s arrival, as a potential replacement for Manchester United superstar Paul Pogba.
As a result, the dominant Serie A could offer the forward as a makeweight for stoic Serbian in order to force through a deal.
He was called up to the Italian national side during Conte’s reign with the Azzzurri, featuring for him at EURO 2016.
Could Zaza cut in the Premier League? Do they need a more prolific striker? Let us know below…
