Real Madrid launch stunning £35m swap deal to lure Hazard from Chelsea

No individual has summed up the fickle nature of football fans crowded around a bar so much in the last year or so, than Eden Hazard.

The Chelsea forward, previously compared to the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, was a major flop for the Blues amid their worst campaign in recent memory, invoking the ire of the West London locals.

While the 25-year old ever so slightly picked his form up to deny arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspur the title, he has been unable to do much of note for Belgium during EURO 3-16.

So, imagine the delight of the Stamford Bridge faithful propping up the bar this evening following reports from the Daily Mirror that Real Madrid are planning to launch a seismic swap deal for the former Lille man.

Los Blancos are reportedly willing to offer up to £35m PLUS in-demand forward Alvaro Morata in an attempt to land the winger this summer.

The latterly mentioned Spanish striker has been linked with a move to the Blues for much of the summer, while the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United are understood to be keen.

He only arrived back in the Spanish capital around a week ago after two years with Juventus, though the Champions League winners are believed to be willing to resell him for a mammoth profit.

Would losing Hazard be a disaster for Chelsea? Could Morata usher in a new era?
