Everton’s Richarlison would be the perfect fit for Chelsea, who may be looking for an Eden Hazard replacement with the Telegraph reporting he's expected to request a move to Real Madrid.

The Daily Star believe Maurizio Sarri is interested in the Brazilian playmaker who’s the top scorer for the Toffees this season with 11 goals and one assist. The 21-year-old has impressed during his stints at Watford and now Everton, and the step up to Chelsea would certainly be an attractive one for him.

It’s believed Everton would demand £80m if they were to sell, and considering Hazard’s Transfermarkt.co.uk valuation lies at £130m a deal would not be out of reach if the Belgian was to leave for Real Madrid.

Hazard’s departure would be a huge blow for Chelsea, but selling a 28-year-old and replacing him with an impressionable 21-year-old may be a risk worth taking. Sarri’s struggled to implement his style with his current squad, and it’s always harder to change older players’ games, so Richarlison would be ideal.

His high work rate and ability to play wide or in the centre would suit Sarri’s fluid, forward-thinking philosophy and, although the manager will want to avoid this, Chelsea may well be playing Europa League football next season so the step up and the pressure wouldn’t be too much to handle when he first arrives.

The fact Marco Silva brought Richarlison with him from Watford to Everton is testament to his character, because Silva clearly wouldn’t have re-signed him if he didn’t feel he could adapt. The signs are positive, but it is quite a risk for Chelsea when they could splash the cash on a more proven striker at European level.

Still, without Hazard, he could be the man to turn to.

Do you think Richarlison would be a perfect fit for Chelsea?
