Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern think the title is all but their’s now and, as per The Bristol Post, the club’s future is looking bright too.
The Blues saw things go almost perfectly for them last night in the title race as they drew away at Liverpool and saw both Arsenal and Spurs drop points too.
It means they’re another step nearer to winning the division this year whilst one of their loan stars was showing their future is in safe hands.
Tammy Abraham scored yet again last night for Bristol City to become the youngest player in 20 years to score 16 goals – passing Celtic’s Moussa Dembele in the process.
The French striker held the record last year from his performances with Fulham but has now seen that taken from him by a young forward who is surely going to be a hit in the top flight.
Dembele was linked by SFR Sport journalist Sara Menai, amongst others, with a move to the Blues towards the end of the transfer window just gone but it appears they really don’t need him anyway.
Our landlord is a big fan of Abraham and thinks it won’t be long until he plays for Chelsea regularly.
